OLYMPUS PERSPECTIVE PLAYGROUND PUBLICITY
We planned a publicity campaign to target two different groups with the aim of publicising the Perspective Playground exhibition and attracting visitors to it. These groups were residents of Barcelona and the surrounding area, and tourists visiting the city.
For maximum impact, we chose a striking branding action; covering some of the tourist and other regular buses that cover a large part of the city with vinyl ads, which gave great visibility and memorability as the buses go around the city all day. At the same time, presenter Alfonso Arús gave all the information about the exhibition whilst broadcasting a video of it on the 8TV programme Aruscity, which achieved high visual impact for viewers. We also ran a campaign with the main radio stations which brought credibility, prestige and influence, and were included in the main national newspapers, in the specialized media and in city guides, not to mention the campaign on social media.
What did we achieve? Over 25,000 people visited Olympus Perspective Playground and were surprised by this original exhibition.
